Boston Sports Medicine is one of the leading physical therapy practices in Boston with a highly trained, caring staff of physical therapists and 7 Boston area locations.
In March 2020, the Coronavirus quickly hit the Boston area and the rest of the country. Many physical therapy practices around Boston were closing their offices and laying off employees to wait it out.
Dr. Michael Velsmid was determined to continue to make PT available for their patients and any other patients in Massachusetts who may have been left without care due to COVID-19 shutdowns and restrictions. They were able to do this by quickly embracing Telehealth and making online Telehealth appointments available to all their patients and any other patients in the state whose PT practice had closed. Telehealth would allow Boston Sports Medicine to help patients in need, and allow him to keep his staff working and avoid mass layoffs.
In less than 5 days, we wrote and produced 2 new healthcare videos for Boston Sports Medicine (A 30 second TV commercial and a 15-second social media video) and helped them quickly get the word out with TV commercials, online videos, social media video posts, email blasts and a press release to the local media. Helping patients in pain and saving jobs….for us, this was a cause well worth fighting for. This is “Creative for a Cause” in action….and we’re proud to be able to serve Boston Sports Medicine in their mission.
